How to submit an EFT-related article to this site
by Morris Berg
Get free publicity for your practice or product by
submitting an article to this site, or tell the world about an EFT
success story
Articles are essential as part of an information-rich
website in order to attract good search engine rankings and help your
site become popular. It is possible to kick-start your website by
adding a selection of articles immediately, and we have done this by
choosing to republish some articles from free article sites such as
www.articlesbase.com
It is even better to have totally original articles
that have not appeared elsewhere. We are preparing some of our own
articles. We also extend this invitation to anyone who uses EFT
(professionally or otherwise) to contribute an article together with
your contact details and website URL. This will give you a free link to
your site and help you to get new business.
Your article can be about a practical application of
EFT, a script sheet for practitioners, a case example, or anything you
wish to write about EFT (and similar therapies) that makes a positive
contribution to public awareness of these wonderful healing tools.
First of all, see the articles that we have published
already to get an idea of how your article can take shape and what the
average length is. (Long articles are OK, but the longer the article,
the better quality we will be looking for.)
Your article must be entirely your own work. Please
don't send us articles by other people, no matter how good they are or
how much you adore or admire that person. Also, do not use any
other person's work in whole or in part and present it as your own -
that is called plagiarism and essentially means breaching the original
writer's copyright, and can be a very serious matter. If you use a quote
in your article, it must begin and end with quotation marks and the
exact source should be given. Quotations should be very short, if they
are used at all - no whole chunks of books please! We really want
to hear what you yourself have to say.
We are not seeking book reviews at the present time -
but if you have written an EFT-related book, we would love an article
about it or an extract from it!
The article needs a title that sums it up - for
example "How EFT Can Help Your Child Do Better At School" or "My Fear of
Using the Telephone Vanished after Ten Minutes of Tapping" - and a
summary of a few lines that explains what the article is about.
Write in a clear style and avoid jargon as much as
possible. If you do need to use jargon, explain what you mean - don't
assume the reader will know.
We reserve the right to edit articles in any way we
see fit, which may include shortening them. We will correct
spelling and grammatical mistakes. (You might see some obvious
errors in articles we have reproduced from free article sites - but
according to the usual terms of those sites, we are forbidden to correct
them! That may be stupid - but it is not our fault. It is
the authors' job to check that his/her article on the free article site
is correct and that his/her contact information is displayed as
required.)
If you have already written an article and submitted
it to a magazine, website, etc., and you want to republish it here, make
sure that you still have the copyright and that you have not assigned
the copyright to the people who published it before. If you have, you
will need to get permission in writing from them (or get them to email
us with permission). We cannot do this for you.
If you have an article published on a free article
site that you would like us to consider, email us with the URL of your
article at that site.
If your article is about a product you offer, it
should contain some useful information or tips that readers can benefit
from without having to buy the product. Otherwise it will just be an
advertisement. If you have an affiliate scheme for your product, we
would appreciate the opportunity to join the affiliate scheme and to put
our affiliate link in your contact details under the article and in any
other web links in the article. Products/schemes should directly
relate to EFT, meridian tapping, energy therapy, energy psychology or
energy coaching.
Case studies should have the client's permission for
publication and (unless the client gives you written permission), all
identifiable details (name, place, occupation, etc.) should be altered
to preserve confidentiality.
Make the formatting of your article as simple as
possible - no fancy fonts, complicated layouts, text boxes or tables. If
you do have an excellent article proposal that absolutely needs such
things for good reason, contact us first.
Put your professional contact details, web and email
links at the end of the article. If you are not a professional
helper, we can still consider your article about your experience with
EFT, and will just give your name and location (town or city). If you
ask us to use your initials only, for privacy, we can do this.
We cannot acknowledge articles and cannot tell you
how long it will take to consider them or publish them. We will email
you when your article appears on this site.
We cannot pay for articles - what we are offering is
a free link to your site or contact details.
You will retain the copyright to your article.
Finally, if you have a links page in your site, we
would appreciate a link to
www.efthomestudy.com ! You can even make a direct link to your
article on this site when it is published. And if you have an email
newsletter, why not announce the publication of your article here by
giving its link at this site?
How to send us the article:
Email the article to
kadcourses@tiscali.co.uk as a text file. Text files end in .txt and
any word processing program should be able to save your file as a text
file. You can also use a simple text editor such as Notepad. Or
else just paste the article into the body of an email. Make sure
you leave a blank line between each paragraph. If you are not sure
how to do then, send us a normal word processing file, but any fancy
formatting or fonts you use may disappear when we edit it. We must
be able to edit the file, so no scans, picture files or protected PDFs
please.
