Further Study Beyond Level 1 & 2 Practitioner

Level 3 EFT / Advanced Meridian Tapping Diploma Course
(Revised syllabus. The following details are provisional and may change prior to the launch of the course.)
An exclusive-edition EFT Level 3 manual will be provided free of charge, containing full instructions and explanations of advanced tapping techniques. Level 3 students will also be supplied with free Level 1 and 2 manuals in order to refresh your knowledge and fill in any gaps in your skills. The Level 3 manual, and the other manuals, will be produced to the same standards and with the same core content as manuals for "live" classroom trainings approved by the major EFT bodies, giving you the same level of knowledge for a fraction of the cost.
This course will also require study of a carefully selected textbook to acquaint practitioners with a range of advanced techniques and meridian tapping variations from EFT Masters and experts.
Topics that will be explained in the required textbook include:
Specific trauma - inner dialogues - addiction - business - self-therapy - Dr Carrington's Choices method - personal resources - self-sabotage - healing childhood trauma - working with children - the Highly Sensitive Person - treating repetitive events - clutter - reversals - root of the problem - law of attraction - pain - imagination and visualisation - therapy for animals - and various other techniques and approaches.
The course is ideal for those who own and have studied various EFT and tapping DVDs, books and programmes and who want a chance to consolidate their knowledge and have it recognised by the formal award of a post-Practitioner qualification.
Just as some of the Level 2 course recapitulates Level 1, some of the Advanced syllabus will recapitulate what you have learned in Level 2. In this way links are made between one level of knowledge and the next.
Those who took up our earlier offer (now expired) of free tuition for the advanced course will have up to a year from the time of launch of the Level 3 Practitioner qualification to complete the course.
The following is a provisional outline the course assessment process for level 3:
Part A - A timed examination paper based upon the core textbook, with at least 50 questions. The examination paper may also be seeded with revision questions and general EFT questions, to ensure that you have retained Level 1 & 2 Practitioner knowledge.
Part B - Presentation of 3 case studies, each of which should show competence at advanced techniques or variations from basic EFT.
Part C - PPP Plus - Submitting a Personal Peace Procedure log showing the use of advanced techniques in PPP tapping on your own issues.
Part D - The development of a new EFT-related or tapping-related technique, script, ebook or audio product, or protocol for integrating EFT with another therapy. Originality, elegance and feasibility of the concept whilst adhering to tapping therapy principles will be more important than length. If you are proficient at treating a particular problem with another therapy, this is an ideal opportunity to set out how EFT can be incorporated into your treatment routine for that problem. You will be expected to research whether a similar product exists, to avoid plagiarism and breaches of copyright, and to produce something that has the unique stamp of your own professionalism. You will be expected to gather feedback on the use of your technique/method/product from clients, friends or colleagues as appropriate. (This does not have to be a long project - originality and quality will count much more than length or complexity. Some of the best EFT innovations are simple and short to describe. You will receive guidance from your personal tutor if you are stuck regarding a possible EFT project.)
Throughout the assignments, the tutor will look for competence in EFT techniques, the ability to use initiative and intuition and, wherever possible, to integrate EFT with knowledge and/or techniques from other disciplines, such as NLP, counselling skills, hypnosis, stress management, relaxation, guided visualisation, Reiki, etc. according to the interests and background of the individual practitioner.
Suitable techniques may be published on this website or in our future publications, with due acknowledgement and a link to your website (helping you build your practice).
Students will be encouraged to demonstrate their ability to learn further EFT skills on their own using their choice of commercially available audios, DVDs, or other materials, or subscription to on-line teleclasses, etc. (A list of suppliers of suitable DVDs etc. will be given). The set text is ideal for exploring various new directions in EFT and tapping therapy, and choosing what additional resources to study for further professional development.
A Level 2 EFT Practitioner qualification (from any provider) or equivalent (subject to approval) is required for entry to the Level 3 course.

Master Practitioner of EFT qualification:
GRANDFATHER SCHEME NOW OPEN TO EXPERIENCED PRACTITIONERS
Since first mentioning the idea of some type of "Master" qualification, there have been exciting developments.
In conjunction with the Institute for Meridian Psychotherapy, we are working on providing our very own distance learning Master Practitioner of EFT qualification.
In the meantime, we know there are many people with considerable knowledge and experience of EFT and tapping who missed out on the chance to acquire Gary Craig's and other qualifications. The Inst.M.P. has therefore provided a GRANDFATHER SCHEME to allow such existing experts to qualify as Master Practitioners through credit for their prior experience and training, subject to any assessment required by the Institute. The more you have demonstrated your expertise through published work, audios/videos, trainings provided, etc., the less formal assessment will be required.
This scheme was introduced in November 2011 and the first two of the Institute's Master Practitioners of EFT have been grandfathered into the qualification on the basis of extensive theoretical and applied knowledge of EFT, meridian and energy therapies plus other knowledge of complementary medicine.
The Institute is currently inviting other persons wishing to be considered for a Master Practitioner of EFT qualification on the basis of their previous qualifications and their achievements in the field of EFT and energy therapies. Therapies who have studied EFT or meridian therapies with any training school/association will be considered. In some cases the applicant may be asked to undertake some distance learning study or to demonstrate competence in order to obtain the Master qualification, and appropriate guidelines will be given.
The grandfathering scheme will be open for ONE YEAR from November 2011 in the first instance, and its need will be reviewed in November 2012.
